OnePlus 5 smartphone goes on pre-sale from EUR 499

(Telecompaper) OnePlus has unveiled its latest 'flagship killer', the OnePlus 5. This will be its most expensive smartphone yet, at EUR 499-559, depending on the selected model. While the phone comes with a wide range of top specifications, the 5.5-inch Amoled screen still is only Full HD, while other manufacturers have adopted QHD/2K. The metal casing on the new phone resembles the iPhone 7, and the OnePlus 5 also comes with a double camera on the back. The OnePlus 5 will go on sale in two weeks from the company's website.

LG adds new features, plus model for G6 smartphone

(Telecompaper) LG announced a new version of its flagship G6 smartphone, the LG G6+, as well as an upgrade with new features for existing 6G owners. The plus version of the phone will come with expanded storage of 128 GB as well as premium earphones from B&O PLAY to take full advantage of the 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC featured in the smartphone. Available in Optical Astro Black, Optical Marine Blue and Optical Terra Gold, the G6+ also adds wireless charging in some countries.
