NEW BEDFORD – The New Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its 129th Annual Meeting and Business Luncheon on Nov. 12 at the Century House, 107 South Main St, Acushnet. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. The lunch and program portion of the event will run from 11:45 to 1:30 p.m. The Annual Meeting will include a presentation from the keynote speaker, the election of new board members, recognition of outgoing board members and the presentation of the Chamber's Annual Economic Impact Awards, Outstanding Service Award and the 2015 Education Leadership Award.

Joseph Abboud has opened its Flagship Store at 424 Madison Ave., the first under the umbrella of Men's Wearhouse Inc. The 4,300-square-foot location was designed and styled collaboratively by Jeffrey Hutchison & Associates and Joseph Abboud, and is reminiscent of London's Savile Row.  "It's our commitment to dress men in the finest quality designer menswear in America so it was only natural to support the Joseph Abboud brand with its own retail store and expand that product offering," said Doug Ewert, Men's Wearhouse CEO, in a news release. "Joseph Abboud sets a high standard of affordable luxury offering collections that have style, quality and enduring value.
