Provide support to Spacecraft Ops Engineers in anomaly investigation phases and recovery procedures testing Simulation versus Satellite expertise. Ensure team training on Simulator usage. Plan, schedule, prepare and conduct the Rehearsal Sessions, including involvement of external support team, as required. Coordinate with Training Officer to assess Operational readiness of operation teams Ensure proper training of Simulator deputy within routine operation team. Focal point in the OPIT Team for coordination and interactions with SSST and external partners via SSST . Maintain Simulator operation guide and associated technical documentations PROFILE Technical skills In addition to having a University degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline, the Key person shall have a demonstrated experience of at least five years in the field of spacecraft simulation engineering with specific experience as follows Experience in the full cycle of development of application software for satellite simulators, following formal software engineering processes. This includes system requirement analysis, software requirement engineering, software design and implementation reflecting maintenance activities as well as new applications definition. Experience in the definition and design of SMP2 compliant software models of spacecraft service platform subsystems DHS, AOCS, Thermal, Electrical,.... Knowledge and understanding with working experience of space related standards ECSS and CCSDS with specific reference to ECSSE7041A TM and TC packet utilization. Have demonstrated experience of working in a multipartner programme Experienced in supporting specific operation preparation phases such as SSVT, validation campaigns or rehearsals for routine operations or LEOP. Capability to lead simulation campaigns and assess teams readiness prior launch. Knowledge of Operation life cycle and Operation Preparation tools such as procedure editor and databases management tools. Furthermore, it would be an advantage for the Key person to have experience with some or all of the following Good knowledge of working methods and corporate culture of EUMETSAT partners and other agencies such as ESA, ESOC, DLR, CNES and space industry.
