This year's theme for the Partners in Caring Gala - presented by the Yarmoshuk Financial Group of CIBC Wood Gundy - is Code Blue for ER. The White Rock's Centennial Arena will be transformed into a sea of blue, with guests requested to wear a shade of the hue to the May 2 gala.

Energizer sees drop in sales, profit as it prepares for spinoff

Energizer Holdings Inc. reported adjusted net earnings per diluted share of $2.07 , down 1.4 percent compared to the prior year first fiscal quarter, and net earnings of $101.5 million, or $1.69 a share, down 1.2 percent compared with the the first quarter of fiscal 2014. "First quarter adjusted net earnings per diluted share were in-line with our expectations despite significant currency headwinds," said Ward Klein , CEO, in a statement.
