Two burglars were caught in the act Thursday night by a police officer buying gas nearby, according to Norwood police. Officer Tim McDonagh was filling his cruiser at a gas station off Dean Street near Route 1 in Norwood at about 11:20 p.m. when he heard the sound of shattering glass.
