Overview Under this work package the contractor shall support the EarthObservation Directorate, assigned to the Copernicus Space Segmentprojects. Providing status data and maintaining a wellstructured configuration record system supporting Configuration Control Boards established forthe processing of changes and waiversdeviations. Familiarity with the Agencys internal IT tools needed for the conduct of hisher tasks, such as PRISMA, Eclipse, Lotus Notes, DOORS, will beconsidered an asset. In this respect the contractor will be acting as focalpoint towards the project as far as the CADM related tools are concerned. Specific qualification requirements Proficient in MS Office packages with experience of high level Project Administration. Knowledge of ESA Configuration and Documentation Management standards ECSS will be considered an asset. Deep knowledge of ESA administrative and documentation management tools will be considered an asset. Large experience with ESA and Earth Observation projects is an asset. Excellent planning and organisation skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills. Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team within the boundaries of assigned tasks and a stringent schedule. Initiative and motivation to perform to high standards in a demanding environment. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the outside world e.g. Industry. Fluent in the English language spoken and written. Knowledge of other European languages is an asset. Legal and Security Requirements All applicants must be legally allowed to work in The Netherlands Applicants are required to provide a copy of their passport and degree certificate. Aurora will validate the Degree with the issuing University and provide evidence to ESA. Prior to issuing a letter of employment the applicant shall provide to Aurora a recent official document declaring that they are of good conduct from the country where currently resident. Location The work will be performed at the European Space Technology and Research Centre ESTEC at Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Contract The selected candidate will receive good remuneration in line withESA Job Class. Will be registered for both social security and tax in the Netherlands. The standard working hours are 40 per week. There are 12 public holidays and an additional 30 annual days holiday. You are able to work both autonomously and as part of a team within the boundaries of assigned tasks and a stringent schedule. You take initiatives and highly motivated to perform to high standards in a demanding environment. You are able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the outside world e.g. Industry. You are fluent in the English language spoken and written.
