Speculation followed the Dec. 21 announcement that Winnebago Industries Inc. plans to expand its corporate footprint in the Minneapolis-St Paul, Minn., metropolitan area. As reported by the Forest City Summit , the motorhome manufacturer made the announcement when it shared news it had hired Michael Happe of the Toro Co., based in Bloomington, Minn., as its next CEO and president.

The value of the IoT market in Italy according to the University of Milan is of 1.55 bn of which connected cars represent a good portion with 4.5 million cars equal to 38% of the total car market with an increase of 30% year on year.

Investigates: Scrutinized guardrails pass first safety tests

The type of guardrails being scrutinized in Kentucky and dozens of other states because of safety concerns have passed the first four of its government-mandated crash tests. On Friday, the Federal Highway Administration released reports saying Texas-based Trinity Industries Inc.'s ET Plus guardrail heads didn't slice through vehicles as critics claimed was part of a design flaw.
