Water boil order issued for Delaware County system

The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality is advising users of a Delaware County water system to boil water before consuming it after E. coil was found in the water system. DEQ said Wednesday it's notifying users of the Red Dirt Public Water Supply to inform residents that they should boil water for at least one minute or use bottled water for consumption, food preparation, brushing teeth and washing dishes.

City of Winona boil water notice has been canceled

On October 27, 2014, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required The City of Winona, PWS # 2120026 to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform our customers that due an interruption in service, water from our system must be boiled prior to consumption. Our system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and/or bacteriological quality and has provided TCEQ with testing results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling.

Ecolab pledges $2M for water conservation

"The Nature Conservancy is doing valuable work in many of these regions and we are committed to supporting these efforts," Ecolab CEO Doug Baker said. Ecolab Inc. has pledged $2 million to The Nature Conservancy for land and water conservation in Minnesota, water protection in Shanghai and reforesting in Monterrey, Mexico.

Samsung C&T Corporation, a parent company of Samsung Group, has awarded Calgon Carbon Corporation a contract to supply 7.2 million pounds of FiltrasorbA granular activated carbon to the Dduk-Do Municipal Drinking Water Plant in Seoul City, South Korea. The value of the contract was not disclosed.
