Your Challenge Given the expansion of our Ground Segment activities, we are looking for a project manager fm with university education in software engineering and experience with Javabased design and development. You will work on our site in Hoeilaart and perform the following tasks Lead a project team of 3 to 5 software engineers Contribute to the technical development and followup of the project Be the focal contact point for the customer and subcontractor organizations Report to the Business Unit management based in Hoeilaart. Your Profile Education you have a master degree in software engineering or computer science 5 years experience in software design and development Essential skills Leading and management of a small size software project Java EE design and development Software design using UML 2.0 Desirable skills Management of projects for the European Commission or European Space Agency ISO RMODP or ECSS standards Bid processes and offer preparation Experience in Web Services technology XML, REST, WSDL, SOAP, UDDI, etc. Experience in SQL and relational databases Oracle 10g andor PostgreSQL Languages you speak and write English.
