Description of the job Due to a fantastic growth period, Airbus Defence and Space ADS is looking for a Future Programmes Project ManagerSystem Engineer. The Advanced Projects department in ENS Stevenage is responsible for all mission and system proposals and studies up to Phase B1. It also provides key resources including proposal managers to major proposals for implementation PhaseB2CD projects. A key position is available for a proposalstudy manager to work in this team managing high profile proposal and study activities in the defence and security perimeter. The ProposalStudy Manager will coordinate and produce the proposals Invitation to tender ITT response and manage studies and technology development activities. Tasks accountabilities Delivery of compliant, professionally produced proposalsstudy data packs within customer defined timeframes Management of the proposalstudy teams Generating new defence and security mission concepts. Development of mission and spacecraft design and assessment of system performance. Delivery of proposalsstudies within agreed budgets Coordination of standard company proposalstudy reviews Interface with a variety of stakeholders, including senior ENS management, sales and marketing, engineering teams, cost engineering, finance, and commercial. This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Companys success, reputation and sustainable growth. Required skills Experience working with Defence and Security Customers System engineering experience at spacecraft or payload level Ability to communicate and influence at a senior level Strong time management prioritisation skills Strong written English language skills Excellent attention to detail. Other requirements Degree in PhysicsEngineering or equivalent. Track record of delivering high quality work on time and within budget. The tasks may include Automating CICD processes Providing training in usage of CICD, container orchestration, and DevOps tools. Develop release approach using automated, containerized deployment techniques Develop automation scripts, daemons, and APIs to reduce manual steps Analyze root causes of issues and provide corrective actions. Evaluate new tools and techniques to drive efficiencies. Manage Cloud infrastructure services and accounts.
