(Telecompaper) Telefonica has teamed up with Etisalat, SingTel and SoftBank to create an alliance designed to offer businesses a comprehensive portfolio of cybersecurity services. The partners said the Global Security Alliance is set to become one of the top five security providers in the world, with more than 1.2 billion customers in over 60 countries across Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and the Americas. Together, the group's members currently operate 22 Security Operation Centres (SOCs) and employ more than 6,000 cybersecurity experts.
