System Analysis Engineer 1611058 Job Description We are looking for a System Analysis Engineer for our client ESTEC. You will be part of the System Support Division and will focus particularly on AOCS performance analyses and optimization work. You will be involved in the Sentinel1B Commissioning, provide support to the Sentinel2B and Sentinel5P teams for the preparation of their respective commissioning work, and provide support to the Sentinel1A and Sentinel2A teams for inflight performance analyses. Your key tasks shall include Review the system analysis of attitude and orbit control systems Propose and analyse manoeuvre strategies in relation with AOCS design and mission requirements Review the precise orbit determination process for projects, with particular emphasis on GPSGNSSbased orbits Perform and review instrument geolocation and coverage analysis Analyze inflight AOCS performance and propose possible improvements to the AOCS data processing. System Analysis Engineer Earth Observation

For one of our main customers ESAESTEC, we are currently looking for a System Analysis Engineer to lend support in the Earth Observation Directorate. With the launch of Sentinel1B currently scheduled in April 2016, and two more EO launches planned in 2016 or early 2017 Sentinel2B, Sentinel5P, the overall workload of the System Analysis Office in the System Support Division will be higher than usual. To cover for this, one additional expert will be added to the team, in particular for AOCS performance analyses and optimization work. Tasks and activities The candidate will report to the Head of the System Analysis Office, in the System Support Division. Heshe will be involved in the Sentinel1B Commissioning as part of the commissioning team. Heshe will support the Sentinel2B and Sentinel5P teams for the preparation of their respective commissioning work. Heshe will also support the Sentinel1A and Sentinel2A teams for inflight performance analyses. The work of the SEEOMA Competence Centre is oriented to supporting the design of space missions from a mission engineering point of view mostly for ESA, EC and system integrators, as well as designing and developing system and mission analysis tools to assess mission scenarios and architectures, operations concepts, system performances, and to perform research in celestial mechanics and its applications. As a matter of reference, DEIMOS activities encompass Earth observation, science and lunar missions Formation flying and satellite constellation systems Satellite rendezvous and active debris removal ADR Space transportation systems and reentry vehicles Flight dynamics Space system engineering Planetary entry, descent and landing System and mission analysis tools and simulators for the design, analysis and operations of space missions Main Duties The following types of responsibilities are envisioned Modelling and simulation of space missions and systems, including space environment and space vehicle dynamics. Mission design and analysis for Earth observation, science, lunar and active debris removal ADR missions. Mission design and analysis of multisatellite systems constellations, formation flying, convoys in support to the system design process. Specification, design, development and validation of system and mission analysis tools to support the Mission Engineering processes, in particular to enable the assessment of mission scenarios and architectures, operations concepts and system performances.
