Drone buzzes near Southwest flight in Dallas, plane lands safely

A small drone flew within a few hundred feet of a Southwest Airlines flight about a mile from Love Field on Friday as the passenger plane was about to land at the Dallas airport, the US Federal Aviation Administration said. Southwest Flight 28 landed without incident and the pilot did not need to take evasive action to avoid the quad-copter, FAA spokesman Lynn Lunsford said.

Sauer lands $3.5 million Catholic education project in Jacksonville

Sauer Inc. has won a contract to build a $3.5 million educational building for Assumption Catholic Church in Jacksonville. The two-story building at 2431 Atlantic Blvd. will have 26,000 square feet, Sauer said in a news release.
