AIS commercially launches 5G service in Thailand

(Telecompaper) Thai operator Advanced Info Service (AIS) has commercially launched its 2600MHz 5G service. The operator officially received the 2600MHz licence on 21 February. AIS enables subscribers who buy the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G or Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G smartphones to use its 5G service free of charge until 30 June.
