Astrium Services Satellite Exchange ASSE is an EADS Astrium company located in Toulouse, France. Fully integrated to Astrium Services teams and activities, ASSEs main role is to manage the allocation and the strategic sourcing of commercial satellite capacity for Astrium Services companiesentities. In addition, ASSE provides satellite capacity valueadded services to internal and external customers. The proposed position is within Satellite Capacity Sourcing SCS team. The job owner will report to the Director of Satellite Capacity Engineering. The activity consists in Managing the Carrier Allocation of Astrium Services Business Communication BC entity taking into account the optimization of the asset that is the satellite capacity. The job owner will be one of the key interfaces between the project implementation team, the product team and the sales. He will strongly contribute to Astrium Services BC efficiency. Some International travels have to be planned for this position. As part of sourcingrelated mission, your function will be to Allocate to each BC project the appropriate carriers and or platform portion By optimizing the use of the satellite capacity in terms of efficiency, Guarantying the expected quality of service sold to the customer, Taking into account the known forecasts. Maintain a close relationship with both SCS members and Delivery teams to ensure both optimization and implementation in due time. Support SCS Sourcing team to monitor Satellite Capacity usage, costs and forecasts of Business. Support Satellite Capacity Sourcing Strategy. This role provides an opportunity to gain good knowledge of the company and its processes and therefore, an occasion for greater development. With Master s degree Engineering, you are specialized in Telecommunications and you gained at least 5 years of experience in Satellite Telecommunications link budget analysis, modems, VSAT. You are recognized for your strong understanding of customer and satellite services market dynamics and requirements. You are autonomous with good communication skills, and comfortable to work in an highlyinternational environment. A negotiation level in English is expected for this position.
