The responsibilities of the service include the routine and special operations of operational METEOSAT spacecraft, continuous monitoring of spacecraft performance and the operations preparation of the next generation of geostationary spacecraft. In addition to a relevant university degree, team members are expected to have expertise across one or more subsystems payload, thermal, power, TTC and to work seamlessly together with the rest of the team to ensure a level of competence is always available.
