Product Processing Operations Engineer 1513056 Job Description We are looking for a Product Processing Operations Engineer to work in the Real time services and System Operations RSO division of the OPS department for our client EUMETSAT. You will support the operations of the MSG, MTP and EPS data processing systems and the operations preparations for future MSG and EPS spacecraft andthe preparations for the Meteosat Third Generation programme. You may also support the further development of the MSG, MTP and EPS data processing systems. Your tasks will include Support to routine operations involving the MSG, MTP and EPS data processing systems this includes Monitoring and reporting on the performance of the MSG, MTP and EPS data processing systems and the quality and availability of the MSG and MTP Level 1 and Level 2 products and EPS Level 0 to Level 2 products Investigating anomalies relating to the performance of the MSG, MTP and EPS data processing systems and the quality and availability of the MSG and MTP Level 1 and Level 2 and EPS Level 0 to Level 2 products Development and validation of procedures for operating the product generation facilities Preparing and reviewing technical documentation relating to data processing operations Providing standby callout support Support to the further development of the MSG and EPS data processing systems, including the specification and validation of system updates Support to the preparation of operational monitoring for future MSG and EPS spacecrafts Support for the operations preparation for future programmes, e.g. Meteosat Third Generation MTG and EUMETSAT Polar System 2nd Generation EPS 2G Participation in technical meetings Participation in formal reviews. Required Skills and Experience In addition to having a university degree in a relevant discipline, you shall have a minimum of 3 years experience in the operational use and quality control of geophysical data. Dissemination Operations Engineer 1513054 Job Description We are looking for a Dissemination Operations Engineer to support our client EUMETSAT. You will work in the Dissemination Team of the Realtime Services System Operations Division of the Operations Department supporting routine operations of all EUMETSAT dissemination and encryption services, the introduction of new products, and the operations preparation phases of new dissemination services, such as for GMESCopernicus Sentinel3 and MTG. You shall provide support to the routine monitoring, development and operation of the current and future EUMETSAT dissemination systems. The duties range from the support to the operation of the various dissemination components, to the analysis, testing, and implementation of new data streams and monitoring and reporting functions. It also includes the settingup and implementation of operational procedures, and the coordination with external organisations and service providers. In particular your tasks will include Support to routine operations of the dissemination and encryption functions within the EUMETSAT Ground Segments, including performance monitoring and in the case of anomalies, the identification and application of firstline corrective actions. This task requires the provision of standby and callout support out of normal working hours Support to the operations of data encryption functions in the ground and space segment of EUMETSAT programs Control, population and operation of dissemination related databases and configuration files for both inhouse and remote systems Support to the preparation, validation and maintenance of ground segment operational procedures Support to dissemination services related training of the Control Centre Team Support in the analysis and resolution of user enquiries related to dissemination services Support to the HW and SW configuration of EUMETCast Reception Stations Support to the rollout and validation of new releases of EUMETCast Reception Station SW packages Investigation into system anomalies that impact on the data dissemination services Generation of Engineering Change Proposals to improve the operational effectiveness of the encryption and dissemination functions Support to design, implementation and verification testing of corrections and improvements Support to the validation, verification and rollout of new releases of dissemination and encryption software Coordination of the operational validation of releases and changes affecting the dissemination system Definition and implementation of dissemination service monitoring and reporting tools, and generation of related reports Support to the generation and maintenance of a products database for dissemination administration Participation in meetings and reviews. Required Skills and Experience In addition to having a University degree in a relevant discipline, you shall have minimum 5 years experience in operations or software maintenance of realtime data dissemination systems, and be familiar with DVBS satellite communications and ground segment operations. You will be able to demonstrate significant work experience on operating system level in major Linux distributions and Windows 2000, XP, Windows7. For the accomplishment of the listed tasks, knowledge and experience of the following is mandatory Computer literacy, including Configuration, installation and scripting for Linux and Windows Evaluationanalysis of systemapplication events and logs Tool based presentation of logs and results Excel etc. Monitoring of near real time data flows in large computer networks Satellite based and terrestrial data distribution systems Provision of near realtime data services in a highavailability environment 247 First and second level support in data services Interaction with endusers Coordination of system changes and interfaces with external organisations Encryption technologies, USB smart cards, TripleDES Formalised hardwaresoftwaresystem testing Configuration control. More efficient operations helps CSX beat estimates, despite revenue drop

Despite a disappointing second quarter for Class 1 railroads, CSX Corp was able to remain above the fray, beating analyst's earnings per share estimates by 3 cents and growing year-over-year net earnings by nearly 5 percent to $553 million. The market liked what it saw: CSX closed at $32.07 per share but jumped in afterhours trading after earnings were released, peaking at $32.29 shortly after 5 p.m. Although the company's revenue declined by 6 percent to $3.06 billion, CSX posted earnings per share of 56 cents per share.
