000 ABNT20 KNHC 150500 TWOAT Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 200 AM EDT Fri Oct 15 2021 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: Shower and thunderstorm activity associated with an elongated area of low pressure located more than 500 miles southeast of Bermuda has become more concentrated to the east and southeast of the center over the past several hours. Strong upper-level winds, however, are expected to prevent additional development of this system through Friday morning. After that time, the low is forecast to accelerate east-northeastward and merge with a trough of low pressure ending any further tropical development chance. Strong upper-level winds are expected to prevent significant development of this system through early Friday. After that time, the system is forecast to accelerate to the east- northeast and merge with a trough of low pressure ending any further tropical development chance. 000 ABNT20 KNHC 141754 TWOAT Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 200 PM EDT Thu Oct 14 2021 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: A broad area of low pressure located several hundred miles north of Puerto Rico continues to produce a large area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms primarily east of its center. Recent satellite wind data indicates this low remains elongated on its west side and strong upper-level winds are expected to prevent significant development of this system during the next day or so. On Friday, this low is forecast to accelerate to the east-northeast while merging with a mid-latitude trough and further tropical development is not anticipated after that time.
