Typical tasks and responsibilities include Software engineering and software maintenance of multimission and missionspecific Mission Control Function systems and tools for GEO and LEO missions. This activity covers functional verification testing and nonregression testing manual and automatic testing execution and coordination of software verification and nonregression testing campaigns. This activity includes running the test procedures on the target system, generation of test reports, analysis of results, troubleshooting of problems etc. generation of test data and test tools that facilitate the software verification and no regression testing maintaining the verification status of the software requirement baseline for the Monitoring Control System. Software Maintenance Activities Preventive and corrective maintenance including the investigation of anomalies in the software systems and verification testing of the fixes. Technical Management Documentation generation and updates of technical documents routine reporting preparation and production of routine reports as necessary meeting participation participation to technical, progress and team meetings as needed and requested. Software engineering methodology Analysis activities focused on a common software engineering methodology and common software engineering tools for the GSI Mission Control Applications and Tools Team development of tools supporting these common software engineering methodologies User Support Software support software support to the endusers of the application software training prepare and provide training covering endusage and maintenance aspects of the mission control facilities.
