Comcast unveils Infinity Flex streaming TV platform for internet-only subscribers

(Telecompaper) US cable operator Comcast has introduced Xfinity Flex, a new streaming service aimed at its internet-only customers. The service, to launch next week for USD 5 per month, brings together a number of subscription streaming services, free content, and voice control to manage all connected devices in the home, all from one platform. Specifically, Xfinity Flex will come with an internet-connected, 4K HDR streaming TV device, Comcast's voice remote, an integrated guide for accessing popular streaming video and music apps, and Comcast's home Wi-Fi, mobile, security, and automation services.

Eleven Sports launches new streaming service in Japan

Eleven Sports has announced the launch of a new streaming service in Japan. Launching on 16 March, the new service will stream live action from the local Eastern and Western League of the NPB Farm Leagues, Japans minor league baseball competitions.

Lions Gate (+0.9%) expanded its Starz service to Canada.
