All feature separate feed slots for destruction of HDDs and SSDs via heavy-duty, saw tooth hooked cutters. Shredding rates reach up to 3,500 HDDs/hr and 1,000 SSDs/hr. A vacancy for an Expert Solid State Power Amplifier SSPA mf has arisen within Airbus Defence Space in Toulouse. The successful applicant will join the OneWeb programme COO team. The OneWeb project aims to provide permanent and affordable web connectivity throughout the world. Airbus Defence Space was selected by OneWeb as a partner for developing and producing a new generation of 900 satellites, leading to a revolutionary change in our Space industry, creating the first mass production of satellites in History. Within the OneWeb project team, you will be in charge of providing expert support to the design to cost, manufacturing, validation and test activities of solid state power amplifiers for the Airbus OneWeb Satellites payload. You will also ensure that the design of the SSPA is compatible with the overall satellite mission requirements. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Defining SSPA and preparing inputs for SSPA specifications, Managing technical exchanges with SSPA suppliers, Providing support to payload RF system design and analysis, Providing technical inputs and recommendations for payload design tradeoffs, with a focus on SSPA impacts, Providing technical inputs and recommendations for SSPA supplier selections, Providing inputs to data packs and presentations for milestone payload reviews SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, etc., Participating in the definition of validation and verification requirements and payload equipment level and payload level, Interfacing with customers and suppliers. This role will involve some travel for business once every two months worldwide and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Engineering degree or equivalent, 5 years of experience in SSPA design, Ideally, knowledge of RFpayload engineering, Interpersonal skills to drive projects within an international environment. Excellent communication and coordination skills, Proactive and independent approach, decisionmaking, Negotiation level of English, French would be a plus. Please apply on line.
