Computer problems lead to halt in NYSE trading

The New York Stock Exchange temporarily halted trading in securities around 11:30 a.m. for an unspecified computer issue. CNBC confirmed the trading halt and an NYSE official told the business-news network there were "technical malfunctions" that possibly were related to connectivity issues.
