During their latest shipment report to the U.S. Surface Transportation Board, Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway and Canadian Pacific Railway showed they continue to make headway in the late grain shipments.

The city of Upper Sandusky's Eighth Street waterline project may continue after a special meeting of council Monday evening. In a quick meeting, council members unanimously approved an ordinance authorizing Mayor Scott Washburn to enter into an agreement with CSX Transportation Inc. for the installation of a waterline.
