Position Reference 820 We are currently looking for a DOORS Requirements Expert to work at the GSA premises in the city of Prague, Czech Republic. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Structuring of Requirements to meet the project need. Theoretical analysis of Requirements design. Support the eliciting, analysis, specification, and management of Requirements at various levels, i.e. from endtoend satellite systems via ground systems to facilities. Product Functional Baseline Definition, Requirements Breakdown Structure Requirements Traceability in DOORS. DXL Procedures in DOORS. Support the planning and preparation of Requirements Verification activities. Facilitate the reuse of Requirements and Verification methods and tools across the organization. DOORS Interface Management of Requirements vs. Design. Change Documentation Change Request, Change Order, Impact assessment. Exporting of information in various formats, in particular Excel. Liaising with relevant teams to ensure up to date and accurate information. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University degree in a relevant technical domain. Experience in using DOORS to structure Requirements. Experience in using DOORS for DXL scripting. A good command of CCB. Ability to trace Requirements through DOORS. Ability to Control Documents. Experience in Managing Requirements. Ability to export from DOORS into different formats. Ability to link together different existing modules in DOORS. Ability to set up a database using DOORS for a better flow down of requirements. Excellent command of both written and spoken English. Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the Hyperspectral Infrared Level 1 HSIRL1 team, within the Atmospheric Profiling Competence Area of the Remote Sensing and Product Division you will have the following responsibilities Integration and verification of external software deliveries in the prototype processor Development and documentation of prototype software and test procedures, maintenance of HSIRL1 monitoring tools, generation of test data Development and maintenance of intercomparison with other infrared data tools Statistical analysis and visualisation of calibrated Level 1 radiances Support the transfer and exchange of the expertise developed with IASI L1 to the other hyperspectral infrared missions IASING and MTGIRS Contribute, coordinate and update the IASI L1 PPF processing running in the ground segment with new auxiliary files and write validation reports Generate automatic daily production of Brightness Temperature maps Improvement of L1 readers capabilities. The post holder will report to the lead of the Weather Training portfolio within the User Support and Climate Services Divisions training team. The team of training officers works across several application domains. This new post will focus on user training and outreach activities in support of national services exploitation of the future EUMETSAT missions MTG and EPSSG in particular for application across operational meteorology and hydrology. The target audiences will be operational staff, application developers and scientists. What youll be doing To design, deliver and evaluate training courses, for forecasters, scientists and application developers that enable the exploitation of EUMETSAT data in operational forecasting. To build the network of subject matter experts that supports the implementation of the training activities. To provide thematic leadership within the networks of external contributors and users, providing high quality advice on potential application pathways in operational meteorology and hydrology i.e. where they add most value in the forecasting process.
