SINGAPORE: Bored during your bus commute? You can now surf the Internet on Singapore's first WiFi-On-The-Go service on public buses as part of the Heterogeneous Network trials. The trial, held in collaboration with the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore , will start with two SMRT service 176 buses, a trunk route service linking Bukit Merah Interchange and Bukit Panjang Temporary Bus Park.

(Telecompaper) The YouTube creative network Fullscreen is launching its own subscription video service for USD 4.99 per month. The ad-free video service will offer a blend of original and licensed content from 26 April. To start, it will have more than 800 hours of content, including feature-length movies and series and original content from online stars. Fullscreen's shareholder AT&T will market the SVOD service to its over 100 million customers and co-produce content with Fullscreen that will be distributed on DirecTV, U-verse and the Fullscreen service. Fullscreen is owned by Otter Media, a joint venture between AT&T and Chernin Group.
