Vacancies for Galileo Integrated Logistic Support Engineers mf have arisen within Airbus Defence Space in MunichTaufkirchen. Successful applicants will join Galileo Operations Bid. Please note that the work location will be either the Galileo Control Centres in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany or in Fucino, Italy. As members of the Galileo Integrated Logistic Support Team reporting to Airbus GSOps ILS Manager, you will undertake technical and managerial tasks and duties on the elements of the Galileo Ground Control and Mission Segments as required in order to maintain high availability of the signals broadcast by the Galileo satellites. Furthermore you will represent Airbus GSOp in meetings with the representatives of the GSA supporting deployment and operation of Galileo Control System, Mission System and Network elements at the GCCs and other sites. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Managing the development, deployment, population, validation and acceptance into service of the components of the Airbus Galileo ILS toolset Undertaking standard logistics support analyses and provide information and recommendations for continuous improvement process Providing expert support to the 247 ILS Service Desk as well as to the Galileo Training team Supporting Level 1 maintenance activities at the GCCs Managing maintenance activities undertaken at the Remote Sites of the Galileo system Supporting introduction into service of modifications and upgrades to Ground and Mission Segment elements, ranging from minor software patches to largescale system upgrades Working with the Engineering Support Team for ground segment corrections or improvements Supporting regular oncall service Interfacing with other internal and external teams We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Educated to degree level in Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent Extensive experience in ILS support to Ground Segment Operations Experience in Galileo Operations or Engineering would be an advantage Good knowledge of MS Office Negotiation level of English, German andor Italian skills would be an advantage Please apply online for this vacancy at our careers site www.jobs.airbusgroup.com with your CV attached.
