We are currently looking for a Galileo Satellite Operations Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Galileo Satellite Operations Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities As members of the Galileo Flight Control Team reporting to Galileo Satellite Operations Manager, you will undertake technical tasks and duties to operate the Galileo spacecraft as required to maintain the high availability of the signals broadcast by the Galileo satellites. In more specific Plan and execute satellite routine operations activities Prepare for, and execute satellite contingency operations as required Prepare for, and execute specific special operations manoeuvres, onboard software patches Analyse and report on spacecraft and ground segment performance, including long term trend evaluations Perform anomaly investigation, tracking and followup activities Work with the Engineering Support Team for ground segment corrections or improvements Maintain the relevant procedures of the Flight Operations Plan Support a regular oncall service Interface with other internal and external teams. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience A minimum of 3 years in a similar position Experience in Galileo Operations or Engineering is an advantage Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of German or Italian language is an advantage.
