Skills and Experience Candidates applying for the position of Cyber Security Engineer should have relevant domain experience including for example Requirements analysis, design and implementation of information security solutions including for example Firewall and VPN solutions Intrusion detection and penetration systems network or host based Identity management and access control systems Encryption and key management technologies Malware detection and antivirus systems Data leakage protection systems Security information and event management systems Vulnerability analysis and patch management solutions Penetration testing technologies and approaches TCPIP based routerswitch networking equipment and solutions. Developing supporting secure hardening guidance and implementation guides for information systems including for example LinuxUnix based host platforms Windows based host platforms RouterSwitch based networking equipment and solutions Identity management and access controls solutions. For above identified systems and solutions the following experience Installation, configuration and management of equipment and applications. Integrating security solutions into routerswitch based networks and solutions. Configure, design, evaluate, and integrate information security solutions. Provision, implement, and maintain network security services per solution design. Implement, and maintain network security policy, standards, and procedures. Document policies and systems operating procedures. A level of education which corresponds to completed university studies attested by a diploma when the normal period of university education is four years or more OR A level of education which corresponds to completed university studies attested by a diploma and at least one year of appropriate professional experience when the normal period of university education is three years 2. In addition to the above, appropriate professional experience6 of at least six years 1. Be a national of a Member State of the European Union 2. Be entitled to his or her full rights as citizen 3. Have fulfilled any obligations imposed by the applicable laws concerning military service 4. Meet the character requirements for the duties involved 5.
