Precision DC Current Shunts target renewable energy applications.
2014-09-08 14:31:26| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today
Designed for DC ammeters and similar instruments, UL-listed and RoHS-compliant RS Series comprises base-mounted shunts with 4-terminal design and current ratings from 5–1,200 A. Standard parts provide 50 and 100 mV outputs, and custom output voltages are available. Resistance values required for shunt resistors, 10 mΩ at 5 A and 0.05 mΩ at 1,000 A, are provided by Manganin® resistive elements, which are precision etched to standard tolerance of ±0.25%; ±0.1% devices are also available. Voice of America: Scientists warn that agriculture around the world can be significantly affected by climate change, and are now teaching farmers new technologies to adapt. At one "climate smart' village in northern India, farmers are changing age-old practices to overcome the challenge of increasingly erratic weather patterns. Harpreet Singh of Taraori village in northern Haryana state says recent years of failed rains and rising temperatures have damaged the paddy of wheat crop on his sprawling 30-hectare...
