The team will be challenged with demanding tasks in the next years ground segment obsolescence migrations, operations automation a possibly preparing and implementing the first European aerobraking operations to be decided in June 2013. The Challenge We are looking for two Spacecraft Operations Engineers SOE to join the SOE to join the Venus Express Mission Control Team located at ESOC to support primarily the following subsystems Power Thermal Subsystems Telemetry and Telecommanding Subsystem TTC The SOE will work within the VEX Flight Control Team FCT under the direct management of the VEX Spacecraft Operations Manager. The Power and Thermal SOE will Take prime responsibility of the platform Power and Thermal subsystems and backup responsibility of at least one spacecraftground subsystems AOCS, Data Handling, TTC, Payload instrument, Mission Control System, Simulator or Mission Planning.
