An exciting opportunity for the Head of Product Portfolio has arisen within Intelligence UK. You will have the exciting responsibility of securing growth of the Intelligence customer base madeup of a range of startup, academia and corporate customers. You will be ensuring investment is managed to ensure UK Products and Services get to market faster and to bring integration across our various client platforms. You will be looking after the support for existing services, the processes for new initiatives at both the product and portfolio levels and highlevel customer interaction both internally and externally. Communicating the range of different products and making sure they are aligned throughout the company. You will be responsible for supporting UK technical, product and business development managers to enable customerled solutions and gathering business requirements to ensure integration within the group portfolio roadmap evolution. The role will focus on innovation and business growth and therefore play a key role in coordinating RD activity required for the UK business to realise its targets as identified in the Operating Plan. This role will require regular travel within the UK and Europe at least every fortnight. The successful candidate will need to be eligible to gain UK SC Security Clearance to undertake the role. To bring clarity and transparency to current Intelligence UK product related activities, to make clear the number and extent of current product developments and to ensure alignment between different activities across the business To maintain regular contact with strategic customers to keep them aware of business developments and seek feedback from them to shape the companys development roadmap and investment profile To identify and prioritise opportunities for improved and streamlined processes, including inputs to portfolio review and individual product analysis To help formulate strategic requirements and to support UK Product Managers to deliver associated roadmaps To help coordinate Intelligence UK engagement with academic and start up partners To work with colleagues to develop and implement a prototype reporting dashboard for key product and portfolio KPIs To act as a central Point of contact for o UK RD coordinators to manage RD activities at a local site level and to promote innovation o Prepare reporting required for Intelligence and CIS on UK RD o Engage with all areas of Airbus RD community to support and coordinate activities like roadmap preparation, budget preparation, reporting and promotion of innovation topics. A proven record of working with multidisciplinary teams to achieve desired outcomes with extensive experience at both strategic and operational levels Logical and analytical skills, able to visualise the endtoend process Strong stakeholder management skills at a senior board level An ability to challenge the status quo and propose alternative approaches To be diplomatic and confidential in the handling of information An understanding of financial management of investment business cases Knowledge of as many of the following Earth Observation, Geospatial Data and Analytics, Remote Sensing, Satellite imagery, Data Management, Data Collection, GIS and Geodata Airbus is committed to achieving workforce diversity and creating an inclusive working environment. Vodafone, Samsung launch European smart home product portfolio

(Telecompaper) Vodafone and Samsung have announced at MWC that they are working together to develop and launch a range of consumer Internet of Things (IoT) 'Smart Home' products and services in selected European markets. The "V-Home by Vodafone" portfolio brings together Samsung's "SmartThings" open platform and the "V by Vodafone" consumer IoT system launched in November to offer consumers home automation, security and safety products and services in the form of security cameras, smoke detectors, water leak sensors, smart lighting and smart heating. "V-Home by Vodafone" with the Samsung SmartThings Wi-Fi hub will be launched in Spain and Germany in the second quarter followed by other markets later in the year.
