Automotive-Qualified Ethernet Switch establishes secure network.
2015-11-02 14:31:07| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today
With integrated PHYs, BroadR-Reach® BCM8953x series enables automotive manufacturers to address bandwidth concerns, ensure standards compliance, and secure network for connected car applications. Architecture supports non-blocking, line-rate data transfer at wire speed performance for all frame sizes over unshielded single-pair twisted cable. Based on 28 nm design, switch integrates low pass filters, incorporates multiple low-power mode technologies, and surpasses AEC-Q100 and EMC requirements.

Available in rod and profile housings, BTL7 Series provides synchronous real-time data transmission and dynamic position measurement with 1 µm resolution. Able to detect and process up to 16 position encoders, transducers output position and speed for each encoder, yielding up to 32 measured values. Selectable Ethernet interfaces include Profinet IRT, EtherCAT, and Varan. Four diagnostic LEDs on sensor head can check both sensor status and status of Ethernet connection.
