Acting as technical authority provide expert guidance on satellite communications concepts to project and client teams in the delivery of these projects. You should have A University degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, physical sciences or mathematics. Significant experience in the telecommunications area, some or all in satellite communications, in a technical design andor systems engineering role preferably with direct experience in IT systems andor networks design. Proven consulting ability to advise senior telecoms customers on future systems design and work with stakeholders to devise new service concepts. You must be able to work in an environment where requirements change often and quickly, and have the ability to assimilate new information rapidly and derive suitable courses of action. You will also need to demonstrate good commercial acumen and business awareness. You should also have strong analytical skills, be selfmotivated and able to tackle technical assignments and problem solving without support from others. You must have strong written and presentation skills, with excellent attention to detail. An ability to anticipate risks and mitigate appropriately is essential. This role is based in Leatherhead, and will require the majority of the candidates time to be spent at our Leatherhead offices. Opportunities for smart working can be discussed during the selection process. This role includes the opportunity for some occasional international travel to client sites, especially within Europe. Starting salaries depend on the current level of expertise and experience.
