We are urgently looking for a new colleague to join us as soon as possible! The person will operate in our office in Noordwijk, and collaborate on a daily basis with the Site Manager, whose responsibility relies on the provision of Expert Support and fullfeatured services to institutional and commercial customers, in a competitive way, in response to the release of Request for Proposals. The Recruiter manages the selection and bidding process for the activity of expert support provision to customers external, mainly The European Space Agency, and internal to Vitrociset Belgium. Duties In the frame of the current position, the Recruiter is expected to implement the following tasks Take in charge vacancies received. Analyses the vacancys content and extracts the relevant information to stress the attention on. Prepares internal and external versions of the job posting on selected channels and advertise them on the suitable job sites. Prepares a set of evaluation criteria for applying candidates Receives and responds to solicited and unsolicited job applications Establishes and maintain updated knowledge of the best sources of candidates organised per profile typecustomer Actively searches for candidates and contact them directly Interviews with candidates formalising offers and negotiations. Assesses a shortlist of best candidates to be presented to the customer Interacts with HR and administration when needed to optimise interview arrangements at customers premises. Supports the possible follow up of the candidates till employment where the candidate is handed over to HR. Work as a business partner with the hiring manager advising for the best staffing solution in response to their needs. This includes mastering the regulations around in country employment contract law and limitations. Document the current staffing business processes as provided by process owner or more experienced personnel for staffing and customer information Generate metrics reports and consolidate data for staffing and customer review following staffing instructions and processes. Coordinate logistical plan for interview events Is proactive in proposing improvements in the data and process organisation of the recruitment function Keeps absolute discretion and confidentiality over the recruitment process and candidates information Agrees with the Site Manager and HR Department the policy for contractual and economic proposals to candidates Is permanently looking for how to achieve and possibly increase competitive advantage with respect to competitors Education and experience University Degree in Engineering or HR would be desirable Experience as Recruiter 2.0. Linkedin, social media search, etc Strong ability to negotiate Previous experience in competitive recruitment Good knowledge of the main assessment techniques structured or not structured interview modelGood knowledge of the Space Business job profiles is an important asset Good knowledge of the institutional customers ESA and their working environment is an important asset Used to work in a multinational environment is an asset. Available to travel across north European sites Experience with ATS systems would be a plus. Language skills English fluent Knowledge of another member state language or of a language used within ESAs environment is an advantage. Charles T. Zegers, senior director of international policy for American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and general secretary for United States National Committee of the International Electrotechincal Commission (USNC/IEC), announced his retirement effective at end of 2015. Zegers worked with ANSI for 35+ years and initially joined in May 1980 as director of standards audit, accreditation, and review. In January 2009, Zegers assumed his current position as senior director.
