Available for 89600 VSA Software, Option BHM provides decoding of physical layer link channel information as well as measurement of modulation error ratio and bit error rate. With DOCSIS 3.1 option, software provides post-processing analysis of PLC-coded, standards-compliant downstream signals. Software extracts next codeword pointer from acquired signals, creates necessary OFDM map, and demodulates DOCSIS 3.1 signals. It can then measure MER and BER and accumulate long-term results.
