Terma Space operates out of Denmark, The Netherlands, Germany, and the UK. Job description JUICE JUpiter ICy moons Explorer is the first largeclass mission in ESAs Cosmic Vision 20152025 programme. Planned for launch in 2022 and arrival at Jupiter in 2030, it will spend at least three years making detailed observations of the giant gaseous planet Jupiter and three of its largest moons, Ganymede, Callisto and Europa. You will be responsible for the activities within the JUICE project team. In the frame of the JUICE Space Project, Terma AS is pleased to invite you to submit your application as Quality Assurance Engineer. This is a full time position, located at our customer site in Toulouse, France. Travels within Europe are required for this position. Responsibilities As a Quality Assurance Engineer your tasks will include Implementation and coordination of QA activities for designated JUICE equipment Control of selected subcontractors according to the Product Assurance requirements Participate in subcontractors risk ranking and surveillance plan definition, and perform audits as necessary Daily coordination with the equipment procurement engineers and associated reporting Coordination with Airbus Defence and Space experts dependability, software QA, materials processes, components, cleanliness, configuration as necessary during the project development to ensure implementation of the PA programme Prepare and attend in subcontractors project reviews EQSR, PDR, CDR, QR, DRB and progress meetings, as necessary, in coordination with procurement engineers Review and approve specification requirements documents Organise and run Software PA activities with support from JUICE Software QA expert Organise MPCB Materials and Processes Control Boards and PCB Parts Control Boards at equipment level attendance shall be decided on case by case basis in support of Project PMP or EEE parts experts Review and approve subcontractors technology qualification plan Manage and process alerts, subcontractors NCRs and RFWs according to project rules Organize and participate in Mandatory Inspection Points at Subcontractors level Coordination and application of JUICE cleanliness and contamination programme with Cleanliness engineer Reporting to JUICE Prime PA manager, including inputs to periodic PA progress report Run a constant and proactive surveillance on critical areas and alert JUICE team on these points Provide inputs to JUICE Critical items List and to JUICE Risk Portfolio Provide inputs to the JUICE qualification status list Hold TRRs and TRBs, Participate in Shipment Reviews Delivery Review Boards Review conformance to the Product Liability for equipment models delivered with ground support equipment Prepare the QA programme for equipment AIT on spacecraft and, in particular, incoming inspection Support to JUICE Prime PA Manager for postdelivery activities equipment models in the spacecraft AIT phase Qualifications Competencies You shall have a proven experience in each field of the product assurance discipline as defined by ECSSQST10 and ECSSQST20 An advanced level in English speaking, reading and writing is mandatory French or German speaking skills are appreciated What can Terma offer At Terma, we consider skilled employees, enthusiasm and job satisfaction as the very foundation of our success and as a prerequisite for the development of the bestinclass solutions that Terma provides.
