ABC: One of the Government's key advisory bodies on climate change says Australia should triple its 2020 target for cutting carbon emissions. A leaked report to the Government from the independent Climate Change Authority says Australia should aim to cut emissions by 15 per cent of 2000 levels by 2020. Calgon Carbon awarded 10-year contract in UK

Calgon Carbon Corp. announced Thursday it has secured a 10-year contract with Thames Water, the largest provider of drinking water and wastewater in the U.K. Chemviron Carbon, Calgon Carbon's European operating group,will reactivate spent activated carbon used to treat drinking water.
