Fresh on the heels of President Barack Obama's State of the Union address on Tuesday, several Mount Vernon dignitaries took the trek to Albany today to attend Gov. Andrew Cuomo's annual State of the State. In an effort to continue building cohesion in the community, Mount Vernon Mayor Richard Thomas was joined by Superintendent of Schools Kenneth Hamilton and Chamber of Commerce President Dwayne Brown on Wednesday at the State Capitol to listen to Cuomo as he outlined his plan for all of New York moving forward.
