State's only nuclear power plant turns 30 years old

The only nuclear power plant in the Northwest, the Columbia Generating Station at Richland, turned 30 years old over the weekend. It's owned by the Energy Northwest utility consortium and it supplies a share of the electricity used by 92 Northwest utilities through the Bonneville Power Administration.
