Electric vehicle sales have not been as strong as expected. For them to ramp up, several ducks need to be lined up in a row. Home EV charging stations becoming more affordable is one of the key challenges to overcome. Bosch has decided to make the market more competitive with introduction of its 240-volt Power Max charger for about half the price of other Level 2 chargers on the market. Many of the incentives available to offset purchase costs for Level 2 chargers are expiring on the market, said Tanvir Arfi, President, Bosch Automotive Service Solutions.
