It attracts over 700 public and private sector solid waste and recycling professionals to a technical program with 90 presentations and an expanded Trade Show that is supported by 120 major exhibitors. Since 2000, the Conference and Trade Show has been held at The Sagamore, an exquisite resort located on Lake George, New York. The Sagamore, one of New York’s landmark hotels, is situated on its own 80-acre island and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. “Our constant goal is responding to input from attendees, exhibitors and sponsors on the technical program, trade show, activities and networking opportunities,” says Russell Rutkowski, Conference Chair. “This is a very ‘seasoned’ group, and they want to catapult emerging issues and technologies in to their local programs. What better place than four days on an island in New York’s beautiful Adirondacks!” We look forward to having you join us at “The Conference That Begins with a Bang” (aka Sunday night fireworks)! The conference web site is continuously updated – check back often for up-to-date information. read more
