PTA and MEG prices have declined on China's import market in the last week, dropping also on India's import market, now covered by our weekly report. Demand for polyester stayed weak from downward textile producers in China. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices.
