Cambodia's apparel exports have further surged in 2018, being actually tripled in the past ten years. Exports to the European Union have continued sharply rising, but are now threatened by a possible withdrawal of their duty-free access. A return to 12% import tariffs would not significantly reduce Cambodian exports, according to a just published report by the World Bank. Current uncertainties could however benefit Vietnam and Bangladesh in the short term. Our statistical tables offer a comprehensive view of overall Cambodia's apparel exports in the past 10 years and exports per destination in the last 5 years. EU and US imports from Cambodia in 4th quarter 2018 are also available, with percentage changes being calculated in volume and value terms.
