Majis Industrial Services (Majis), the government-owned one-stop water utility service provider at Sohar Industrial Port Area (SIPA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Oman International Petrochemical Industry Company LLC (OIPIC) (under formation) to provide them with 30,500 m3/day of industrial water for their upcoming Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA) and Poly Ethylene Terephthalate (PET) project which is expected to be operational by the end of 2016
