Reporting to the director of the Kourou establishment DPK, the Safety Coordination department is in charge of setting up and managing all aspects concerning the safety and security of the establishment Ariane, Vega and Soyuz launch complexes. The department is also in charge of coordinating all technical activities throughout the establishment. Within this team, under the direct authority of the Safety Coordination department manager, the Safety and Environment Engineer is more specifically in charge of all aspects concerning the writing of regulatory dossiers and their followup. As part of this job, you will be responsible for the following Supervising the writing and updating of pyrotechnic safety studies and hazard studies for the Kourou establishment. Maintaining and making available to administrative authorities the regulatory dossiers required for ICPE installations classified for environmental protection and pyrotechnic facilities. Overseeing the establishments tracking of all regulations concerning labor codes and the environment. Filling out Modification Proposals PM, in collaboration with the Operational Safety manager and the Occupational Safety Engineer. Participating in any general missions assigned to the Safety Coordination department. Taking turns to provide secretarial services for the Internal Organization Plan POI during launch countdowns. Acting as department head when needed. CANDIDATE PROFILE You have a degree from an engineering school or equivalent French or European university, majoring in health, safety and environmental issues, and at least five years of experience in production or in the startup of industrial plants. You will also have significant experience within a design office responsible for drawing up regulatory applications for ICPE andor pyrotechnic facilities. You must be rigorous, methodical and persistent, with excellent relationship and communications skills. Because Arianespace operates in an international context, you must have good writing skills in both French and English.
