We are currently looking for a PA and Safety Support Engineer to support our customer in the Netherlands. PA and Safety Support Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the Quality Assurance and Management Section, you will have the following responsibilities Establishing the PAS requirements baseline for all elements of the project, in compliance with the ESA general Product Assurance and Safety policy Produce and implement plans, define inputs, outputs, participants, responsibilities, interfaces, coordinate efforts of participants, and produce resulting consolidated inputs QA support surveillance of platform and Payload integration, system tests, launch campaign, AIT activities, NRBs Backupdeputy of PAS Manager for all AIT activities Representing ESA in the Boards established within the project for the disposition of Non conformances Failure Reviews, Test Reviews, etc. Produce reports of participation to boards, indicating the contribution made to these boards e.g. review of agendas, participants, minutes of meeting, action follow up, closeout Monitoring the manufacturing, integration and test activities with quality assurance audits, mandatory and key inspection points, test witnessing and configuration inspections Produce report on activities performed with conclusion and recommendations. Controlling NCR Waivers Problems Critical Items. Produce meeting agendas, check that all inputs are available for the NRB or CCB, check that all needed participants are involved, produce NRB or CCB minutes of meeting, followup on actions identified, ensure proper nonconformancewaiverproblemcritical item closeout. Produce also reports on control activities performed. Interface for, instrument providers for all PAQA matters after shipment to the prime Insure a complete photographic AIT record is available to ESA The Launch Campaign Reporting project PA status deviations from plan schedule of all of above. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Minimum of 10 years experience in product and quality assurance in the space domain Knowledge of Configuration Management or the implementation of Product Assurance within a quality system certified to ISO 9001 would be an asset Extensive travelling is required to integration and test facilities, as well as the launch site Very good interpersonal skills, as well as good organization and communication skills, with the ability to work in a diverse and multinational team environment. Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage. This job is located in Noordwijk. PA and Safety Support Engineer 1511001 Job Description We are looking for an experienced Product Assurance and Safety Engineer to work for our customer ESA at their premises in the Netherlands. The selected engineer will join the Quality Assurance and Management Section and support the ESA PA Safety Manager for designated projects in conducting, monitoring assessing the implementation of the PA Safety Programme. The main activities to be conducted by the engineer can be summarised as follows Establishing the PAS requirements baseline for all elements of the project, in compliance with the ESA general Product Assurance and Safety policy Produce and implement plans, define inputs, outputs, participants, responsibilities, interfaces, coordinate efforts of participants, and produce resulting consolidated inputs. Reviewing contractors plans, specifications and effort proposed for the execution of the project PAS programme Monitoring project PA status identify relevant PA issues, including NCR SPR Waivers Problems Critical Items and systematically tracking all items.
