PWM Single/Dual Servo Drive suits demanding motion applications.
2015-11-18 14:31:06| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today
Combining NanoPWM and DRBoost technologies, dual-axis NPApm Series supports two ±10 V sin wave current commutation commands and can operate with any motion controller to address motion application requirements regarding move and settle times, standstill jitter, and velocity smoothness. In addition to built-in motor shortening relays, drives also feature STO (Safe Torque Off). Software support tools are provided for module configuration, setup and tuning.

PWM Module is available for Allen-Bradley Point I/O.
2015-11-11 14:31:06| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today
Referenced within Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork™ Encompass program, 4402 two-channel Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signal controller for Point I/O™ works with Allen-Bradley PLCs. Module generates square wave pulse signal with 0%–100% programmable duty cycle and 1 Hz to 20 kHz programmable frequency and can also be programmed to add dithering element to PWM output. Programmable output frequency and duty cycle provide sophisticated control for hydraulic and pneumatic control devices.

Combining The CLC And NCO To Implement A High-Resolution PWM
2015-10-19 11:28:33| rfglobalnet Home Page
Conventional PWMs start to lose effective resolution at relatively low frequencies. Many applications can function with PWM resolutions less than eight bits, but some applications require higher resolution due to the sensitivity of the human eye. In order to achieve as much PWM resolution as possible at the necessary frequencies, the NCO may be used in conjunction with the CLC to create a very high-resolution PWM output. This application note discusses how to design a PWM by implementing CLC and NCO with the right calculations.
