Serco currently have a team in place to provide a range of IT services for a major European Organisation, both on and off site in the domain of support to the full lifecycle of Workplace services including the provisioning of hardware, software and support to all daily activities. The work is divided into Front and Back Office services and is located at multiple sites across Europe in Italy, Holland, Belgium, France, Spain and Germany. We are seeking, for a Back Office post in Frascati near Rome, Italy which will be either on site with our client or on Serco premises, a Technical Architect Senior Administrator. Responsibilities The candidate shall maintain vision of budget elements under their responsibility and interface with commercial, procurement services. The candidate shall provide reporting to senior management when required. The candidate shall create a of dashboard reporting and specific presentations The candidate must be able to validate High Level Design, Low Level Design and Configuration Build and Test plans The candidate must be able to actively participate to solutions design The candidate will be responsible for the creation and update of technical specifications and be knowledgeable about ITIL processes and procedures The candidate will be responsible for the ongoing evolution of environment under CSIP activities. For this position we require a technical lead in transformation of an AsIs environment to a designed ToBe environment. Requirements The ideal candidate would have experience with as many as the following technologies Microsoft Server 2012 R2, Active Directory 2003 2012 R2, SCCM 2012 R2, Distributed File System DFSR Networking LANWAN in depth understanding Routing, Screening, Filtering, VRRP. Virtualization VMWare Horizon Suite, View, Persona Management, ESXi 5.5 and 6, vCenter, vCloud, vCops Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop McAfee VSE, ePo Sophos Encryption suites Sun, RHEL 6.5 and 7, HAProxy, Heartbeat, HA addin, Pacemaker, GlusterFS DB MS SQL, MySql, PostgreSQL Backup systems EMC Networker or Simpana Commvault Alternative applications providing similar functionality can be accepted based on knowledge and experience. Any of the following certifications would be an asset MCITPMCSE or equivalent VCP VMWare Certified Professional RHCERHCA ITIL High level training or certification highly desirable The candidate must be able to manage small teams and organise projects and transformation activities.
