Disorganized showers and thunderstorms located several hundred miles southwest of the southwestern coast of Mexico are associated with a broad area of low pressure. The National Hurricane Center has issued its last advisory on recently upgraded Hurricane Miriam, which is moving into the central Pacific basin. Conditions appears to be favorable for subsequent additional development, and a tropical depression is likely to form by the weekend while the system moves westward or west-northwestward near the Cabo Verde Islands and the adjacent Atlantic.
