000 ABPZ20 KNHC 291731 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 1100 AM PDT Thu Jul 29 2021 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: Showers and thunderstorms are gradually organizing in association with an area of low pressure located about 500 miles south-southwest of the coast of southwestern Mexico. Environmental conditions are conducive for continued development, and a tropical depression is expected to form during the next day or two while the system moves west-northwestward at 10 to 15 mph. * Formation chance through 48 hours...high...80 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...high...90 percent. Another area of low pressure is located about 1100 miles southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. Although the circulation appears well defined, showers and thunderstorms are poorly organized and confined to an area southeast of the center.
